The Travertine Cleaning and Sealing combo pack is designed specifically for rough, matt or unpolished travertine in an outside environment.
There are two levels of travertine sealer protection to choose from:
1. Water-repellent travertine sealer – the standard combo includes a high quality water-repellent travertine sealer (which is essential for outdoors). This travertine sealer will make the surface extremely water-repellent and the combo includes enough product to apply two coats to approximately 10 square metres of travertine.
⇒ 1 litre of Deterdek to clean the surface
⇒ 1 litre of Hydrorep invisible water-repellent sealer
Normal retail price $77.10, save 15% by buying the combo for just $65.54!!
2. Water-repellent PLUS Stain-repellent travertine sealers – outdoor areas obviously all need water-repellent protection, but some stain-susceptible outdoor spaces could also really benefit from stain protection sealers as well (think BBQ areas, outdoor bars, etc). You can choose to add on a stain-repellent travertine sealer to also protect against food, drink and other stains in these areas. This combo option will also cover a larger surface area of 20 square metres, with one coat of each of the two sealers being applied.
⇒ 1 litre of Deterdek to clean the surface
⇒ 1 litre of Hydrorep invisible water-repellent sealer
⇒ 1 litre of FilaFOB stain-repellent sealer for unpolished stone
Normal retail price $122.17, save 15% by buying the combo for just $103.85!!

Instructions for cleaning travertine:
Stage 1 – cleaning travertine with Deterdek
You will need gloves, a bucket, a stiff broom and clean rag, and a mop and bucket.
Pre-wet the surface with water, and use the broom to spread it evenly.
Dilute Deterdek 1:5 in water.
Spread the diluted Deterdek over a few metres of the surface at a time, wait 2-3 minutes, and then agitate with the broom.
Wipe up the residue with a clean rag or mop.
Rinse with plenty of water.
* Do not use on acid-sensitive surfaces
* Test a small area first to verify acid resistance
Stage 2 – sealing travertine for water-repellent protection with Hydrorep
You will need a paintbrush and bowl.
Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
Use the paintbrush to apply a coat of Hyrdrorep to the surface, ensuring it is well-soaked and evenly covered.
Wait 24 hours before completing the treatment with FilaFOB to provide stain-repellent protection.
* Test the product on a small area first to check for any colour changes.
* Do not apply in the hottest hours of the summer season
* Do not apply the product if rain is expected within 8 hours
If you are opting NOT to continue with the Stage 3 application of a stain-repellent sealer in addition to water-repellent protection, we recommend that you repeat Stage 2 so that the surface has 2 coats of sealer applied.
